ON-STREET PARKING PERMITS

The procedures for securing On-Street Parking Permits under Osceola County Ordinance 00-13 are:

(FYI: The developer of Indian Wells was required by the County, to provide a 2 car garage and a 2 car driveway. You may wish to get a copy of the Parking Ordinance 00-13, at the Osceola County Administration Building, to explore other options.)

2.  Permits may be requested through the Homeowners Association, in advance of their need and the requests will be processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

3.  These request forms must contain your name, address, phone number, parking date or dates and the hours the cars will be parked.

4.  Permits can only be issued for the time selected between the hours of 8:00 AM through 2 Am (the next morning) overnight parking is not permitted

5.  Osceola County Ordinance 00-13, limits the number of permits to 8 per home.

6.  All parked vehicles must display the permit on the dashboard so as to be visible from outside the vehicle.

7.  All vehicles for each home having permits must be parked on one side of the street, only, and in the direction of traffic.

8.  When permits are issued to residents for their visitors, on opposite sides of a street, for the same times and day, vehicles of each home, shall not be parked closer than 100 feet from the vehicles on the opposite side of the street.

9.  The permit does not give anyone the right to park on any grass, on any part of the right of way, nor may you block any neighboring driveway, nor closer to the legal limits to fire hydrants, crosswalks, stop signs, corners and parking zones.

10. Failure to observe these procedures may result in a citation issued by a Code Enforcement Officer or a Deputy Sheriff.

11. Permits are for On Street Parking Only; not for use on driveway aprons, side walks or grass.
